Warranty & Service Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

This Warranty & Service Policy describes the general warranty, technical support, maintenance, and service principles applicable to equipment, systems, components, and related services supplied by Evoaeo.

Specific warranty conditions may vary depending on the equipment, project scope, operating environment, commercial agreement, and applicable purchase contract. Where a signed quotation, purchase agreement, project contract, or other written agreement contains terms different from this policy, the written agreement shall prevail.

1. Scope

This policy may apply to Evoaeo products and services including:

  • electro oxidation wastewater treatment systems;
  • electrochemical reactors;
  • electrode assemblies;
  • control systems;
  • auxiliary treatment components;
  • replacement parts;
  • engineering support;
  • commissioning services;
  • maintenance services;
  • technical troubleshooting.

2. Standard Warranty Principle

Evoaeo warrants that supplied equipment and components will be free from material defects in workmanship under normal use, installation, operation, and maintenance conditions during the applicable warranty period.

The exact warranty period will be specified in the relevant quotation, purchase agreement, invoice, or project contract.

If no separate warranty period is stated in writing, customers should contact Evoaeo for the applicable warranty terms before placing an order.

3. Warranty Coverage

Subject to the applicable written agreement, warranty coverage may include:

  • defects in manufacturing workmanship;
  • defective components supplied by Evoaeo;
  • failures directly attributable to assembly defects;
  • technical defects confirmed by Evoaeo during the warranty period.

At Evoaeo’s discretion, an eligible warranty claim may be addressed through:

  • repair;
  • replacement of defective parts;
  • replacement of components;
  • remote technical support;
  • other reasonable corrective measures.

Repair or replacement under warranty does not automatically extend the original warranty period unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Items Not Covered by Warranty

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, warranty coverage does not include failures or damage caused by:

  • incorrect installation;
  • improper operation;
  • failure to follow operating instructions;
  • inadequate maintenance;
  • unauthorized modification;
  • use outside specified operating conditions;
  • unsuitable electrical supply;
  • corrosion or scaling caused by wastewater chemistry;
  • excessive solids, oil, grease, or fouling;
  • chemical exposure outside the specified design range;
  • mechanical impact;
  • flooding, fire, lightning, or other external events;
  • use of incompatible chemicals or process additives;
  • improper storage;
  • ordinary wear and tear;
  • consumable parts;
  • third-party equipment not supplied by Evoaeo.

Electrodes and other electrochemical components may experience gradual performance changes depending on operating conditions, wastewater composition, current density, cleaning procedures, and treatment duty.

Normal degradation resulting from use is not automatically considered a manufacturing defect.

5. Wastewater Characteristics and Warranty Conditions

Industrial wastewater composition may change significantly over time.

Warranty coverage may depend on the equipment being operated within the wastewater characteristics and design conditions provided during project evaluation.

Changes in the following may affect treatment performance and equipment life:

  • COD concentration;
  • chloride concentration;
  • conductivity;
  • pH;
  • temperature;
  • suspended solids;
  • hardness;
  • oil and grease;
  • organic pollutant concentration;
  • salinity;
  • oxidant demand;
  • flow rate.

Customers should notify Evoaeo when wastewater characteristics differ materially from the conditions used during system design.

6. Treatment Performance

Equipment warranty and treatment performance are separate matters.

Treatment results depend on operating conditions, wastewater chemistry, influent variability, pretreatment, downstream treatment, equipment maintenance, and other project-specific factors.

Unless guaranteed in a signed written agreement, published specifications, case studies, laboratory results, pilot test data, and technical discussions should not be interpreted as unconditional guarantees of treatment performance.

Where specific treatment guarantees are required, they should be defined in the applicable project agreement, including:

  • influent conditions;
  • target effluent conditions;
  • operating parameters;
  • sampling methods;
  • analytical methods;
  • acceptance criteria.

7. Installation and Commissioning

Proper installation and commissioning are important for system performance.

Depending on the project, Evoaeo may provide:

  • installation instructions;
  • remote installation support;
  • onsite installation supervision;
  • system commissioning;
  • operator training;
  • startup assistance.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that site utilities, piping, electrical supply, structures, ventilation, drainage, and other site conditions meet project requirements unless otherwise agreed.

8. Maintenance

Routine maintenance may include:

  • electrode inspection;
  • electrode cleaning;
  • reactor inspection;
  • pump maintenance;
  • sensor calibration;
  • electrical inspection;
  • pipeline cleaning;
  • filter replacement;
  • control system checks.

Customers should follow the maintenance schedule provided for the applicable system.

Failure to carry out required maintenance may reduce treatment performance, shorten equipment life, or affect warranty eligibility.

9. Technical Support

Evoaeo may provide technical support through:

  • email;
  • remote communication;
  • operating data review;
  • troubleshooting guidance;
  • maintenance recommendations;
  • spare part identification;
  • process adjustment recommendations.

Technical support availability, response scope, and onsite service conditions may depend on the applicable service agreement.

10. Onsite Service

Where onsite service is requested, additional costs may apply, including:

  • travel expenses;
  • accommodation;
  • transportation;
  • labor;
  • visa costs;
  • site access requirements.

The scope and cost of onsite services will normally be confirmed before service work begins.

11. Spare Parts and Consumables

Evoaeo may provide replacement parts and consumables for its systems.

Customers are encouraged to maintain suitable spare parts where continuous plant operation is required.

Availability of individual parts may change as equipment designs are updated.

Where an original part becomes unavailable, Evoaeo may recommend a compatible replacement.

12. Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, please provide:

  • customer name;
  • equipment or project reference;
  • serial number where applicable;
  • description of the issue;
  • operating conditions;
  • wastewater characteristics;
  • photographs or videos where relevant;
  • alarm records;
  • maintenance records;
  • operating data.

Evoaeo may request additional information before determining whether a claim qualifies for warranty service.

13. Returned Equipment

Equipment or components should not be returned without prior authorization from Evoaeo.

Where return is required, Evoaeo will provide instructions regarding:

  • shipping;
  • packaging;
  • decontamination;
  • documentation;
  • inspection.

Equipment exposed to industrial wastewater must be safely cleaned and decontaminated before shipment.

14. Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evoaeo is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from equipment downtime, production interruption, lost profit, loss of product, or similar commercial losses unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
